Process Writer (SOPs)

Watches you describe how a job is done — or reads a meeting transcript — and turns it into a clean, step-by-step SOP anyone on the team can follow.

Difficulty: beginner Process documentationOnboarding & handoversTeam knowledge

Most teams don’t document processes because documenting is boring. This Skill makes it nearly free: talk the process through once (or hand it the transcript of you explaining it to a colleague) and get a structured SOP back.

What you’ll build

A Skill that outputs the same shape every time:

  • Purpose — what this process is for and when it runs.
  • Steps — numbered, with the tool and the owner for each.
  • Watch-outs — the mistakes people actually make.
  • Done looks like — how to know it worked.

How to build it

  1. Put your house SOP format in sop-template.md (or use ours to start).
  2. Record yourself explaining the process once — the meeting-notes connector picks it up.
  3. Ask for the SOP, fix the two things it got wrong, and file it. Repeat for the next process.
