Proposal Builder

Turns a discovery call's notes into a client-ready proposal in your house style — scope, pricing options, next steps — in minutes, not an afternoon.

Difficulty: intermediate Proposals & quotesStatements of workClient follow-up

The proposal is where deals stall — not because the thinking is hard, but because writing it up is slow. This Skill takes your call notes (or the meeting transcript, via a connector) and drafts the full document in your format, with your pricing rules applied.

What you’ll build

A Skill that produces a complete first draft:

  • Their problem, in their words — pulled from the call, so it reads like you listened.
  • Scope — what’s in, what’s explicitly out.
  • Options — good/better/best pricing built from your pricing-rules.md.
  • Next steps — dates, owners, and the one thing they need to do.

How to build it

  1. Save two or three of your best past proposals as examples — the Skill learns the house style.
  2. Encode the rules that never change (payment terms, validity, what’s never discounted) in pricing-rules.md.
  3. Point it at the call notes or transcript and review the draft — judgement stays with you.
